My story with Tupperware began 10 years ago when my husband, my two children, who were at that time 7 and 2 years old, and myself, decided to move to Zaragoza. I left my previous life behind, to begin my new life 700 km away from my friends and the rest of my family. It was, of course, very hard at the beginning since we didn’t know anyone there.
I first came into contact with Tupperware by chance. I was invited to a party by the mother of a child from my son’s school. That is where I was given my first opportunity with Tupperware. The idea attracted me as it was perfect for me, I could make both my family and working life fit together.
My initial happiness turned to fears and doubts as I didn’t know where to start. Fortunately I had the support of my family and decided to face those fears, although deep inside I thought I didn’t have much of a future.
I was very wrong!! One year later I was promoted to Unit Manager and started to believe in my abilities, being already fully compensated in form of recognitions and many personal achievements.
I felt so proud and happy to be recognized at a national level. This feeling was something remarkable! Those are magical moments that can only be experienced in Tupperware.
Throughout the last 10 years I have grown personally, trusted myself, trusted our product, trusted the Company and learned how to successfully develop my work and help other people do it.
I have only experienced special and gratifying moments working with Tupperware. It is so nice to be recognized and to meet so many new people that give you their love, their gratitude and their friendship.
I continue my career in Tupperware and my aim continues to be to reach my goals….it is most certainly possible and extremely rewarding!!!
Mari Leal from Spain: "Little by little I started to regain confidence in myself and began to recognize my abilities."
I have known Tupperware for many years. The first thing that attracted me to Tupperware, were the products. My first opportunity with this company was as a hostess, I never imagined I would end up doing my own demonstrations and really being part of the Tupperware world.
A Tupperware Dealer offered me the opportunity to join the Company several times, each time I declined the offers. This person would take no for an answer and she organized my first surprise party.
From the very beginning I loved the way I was treated and appreciated, at parties, at Monday Assemblies, events, etc.
I was going through a difficult time in my personal life because of my divorce and working with Tupperware helped me overcome these hard moments, little by little I started to regain confidence in myself and began to recognize my abilities.
I am currently Team Leader of Melilla, the city where I was born. I feel so proud of my work and the fact that I can rely completely on Eli, my Distributor, makes working at Tupperware that extra bit special. She is my guide and inspiration and I learn from her every day.
Both my children and my work have given me the strength to continue fighting for what I want from life and my future. For these reasons, I have been able to enjoy wonderful moments in my career and I’ve had the opportunity of meeting many new people in a company where People are what matter!!
Tupperware has, in fact, changed my life. I continue having fun and learning new things at work, gaining confidence in myself every day.
I feel GREAT, because thanks to Tupperware, many of my dreams have come true. I have traveled and seen so many beautiful places, met nice people and been recognized for my achievements.
But above all, I have grown as a professional and as a person, achieving my own goals.
Ruth Tizón Palma: My aim has always been to do it better, to overcome my fears and to fight for my dreams
I’ve known Tupperware since I was a child when my parents were already Distributors in north eastern Spain. It was only by chance that I decided to start my own career in Tupperware when I was 24 years old. Back then I felt insecure and afraid and with little hope for success. I believed that being a Distributor’s daughter was a handicap for me. Everyone believed that in my position it would be easier and I would do it better than others. Perhaps that was in fact why I made the extra effort to give be an example and discovered how fulfilling my work was. I felt really happy!!
Perhaps the turning point arrived when I realized my work was no longer something to do for leisure but a job to develop into a real Tupperware career opportunity. My aim has always been to do it better, to overcome my fears and to fight for my dreams….to become a Tupperware Distributor.
Today I can proudly say that I live my life passionately, surrounded by wonderful people to whom I am also helping change their lives. Now my husband has become my greatest supporter in this job and we both share and enjoy the great pleasures it provides both of us.
The past eight years with Tupperware have contributed to my personal and professional development. I have broken my own barriers and I have achieved a stable future where a well done job is valued. There is a motto/proverb that I really like: “Those who stop moving can never win and those who win, they never stop moving”. It is essential to be positive, not to give up and be constant; and above all, you must enjoy your work to be happy.
I will never forget those people that helped me by believing in me and trusting me. They gave me the strength to face new challenges in Tupperware. It is thanks to them that I am here today.
