In a society where most topics are taboo, sexologist Logan Levkoff fills the void by encouraging honest conversation about sexuality and the role it plays in American culture. A recognized expert on sexuality and relationships, Logan works to create an environment where people feel comfortable asking (and getting answers to) their most personal questions., Logan makes it clear that sex and sexuality are not "dirty" words; they are words that should be discussed openly, without guilt or fear. Many elements go into creating a delicious and healthy meal. However, I want to illustrate how these elements can be less complicated, less intimidating and more easily accessible! With my background experience, extensive training, and working knowledge, I can showcase and instruct people how to combine components to create a nutritious, balanced and delicious meal to attain AND maintain a healthier lifestyle.
A bit about me... Born the youngest of two brothers and a sister, I grew up in an Irish family kitchen. As a child I hung out with my mom and helped her cook the family meals. Usually doing all of the prep work for her before she came home to finish the creation of the meal. By the time I was seven, I had become a right handy Sous-Chef... About the time I turned 11, my cooking 'instructors' expanded ~ to my Aunt's home where I would do my homework while helping her bake lavish pastries and pies.
Who knew this would turn into an avid fascination leading to a BA in the Culinary Arts from the Dublin Institute of Technology, where my natural interest, joy and intrinsic abilities merged with a classical, formal education. Being located in such close proximity to France and having the opportunity to travel extensively while at school, it was a natural leap to integrate the French approach and earthy love of food and wine into my studies. This led me to also study Oenology, as it relates to organic construction and function of earthly elements (wine-making). I am eternally grateful to have had that opportunity to work with great chefs and educators at my college and know that foundation stirs my desires to pass along my knowledge and skills.
I came to America with two words in mind: Get Moving!
